What is an Unbirthday Tea Party???

Well, let me tell you.

And there won't just be tea and cake...

Signs Signs Everywhere Signs

How's your sense of direction?

Does it look like this:

I know sometimes my life directions get all muddled up.  It's one of the reasons I ended up down the rabbit hole to begin with.

In Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat gives Alice the following advice about directions:

We all know Alice ended up at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, right where she was supposed to be.

Now it's your turn - you are invited to MY Tea Party (and Sale)

Oh, you need directions????  Here you go:

See you there!

Playing with the Queen of Hearts

We all know playing with Queen of Hearts is risky business indeed!

In reality, who hasn't suffered a few bumps and bruises to our hearts?

The Mended Heart series was one of my first designs.  I used to draw mended hearts when I was a teenager - full of angst and broken love.

Each Heart is unique - just like the circumstances that lead to your bruises and bumps.

I can offer only Alice's words to fend off the Queen of Hearts:

What do you DO when life gets curiouser and curiouser?

Well??  What did I do, you ask?

Let me tell you:  I followed the White Rabbit down to Wonderland and had some very curious adventures.  Now, I am regaining my muchiness (I was much muchier before) by adopting these three life lessons from Wonderland:

1.  Believe in the Impossible

YAHOOOOO - It's BSBP TIME! Welcome to the Bead Horders Edition, 2017

Ever have one of those days.  You know the kind - when the beads you have chosen will not play well together and the crimps!  Well they just won't crimp.

This was my experience this week as I was getting ready for all the fun today.  You see, I just wanted to give the Beads my partner, Sarah, sent me, some love through good designs.

FAIRY TALE

Castles, princesses, magic and wicked queens, oh my!

Fairy Tales for me have always had an abundance of magic and wonder, but also a large dollop of creepiness.

Art Charm Auction - Coming Soon!

As mentioned in this post, I joined an Art Charm swap this year.

Our hostess, Jen Cameron over at Glass Addictions, put out the call back in May for artisans to participate in the swap and auction for Beads of Courage.  She then gathered all our charms, divided them up and sent a new package back out to each of us.

Clutter - Work Table Wednesday

What was on my worktable this wednesday?

This:

This is the result of working on my art charms (mailed last Monday) amidst other unfinished projects. I am afflicted with clutter and what apprears to be complete chaos, especially when working to a deadline.

Sneak Peek - Art Charm Swap

I joined an Art Charm swap and auction.  The auction goes to benefit Beads of Courage - a wonderful charitble organization started by a PhD Nursing student in Arizona with the mission of "Caring for children coping with serious illness, their families and clinicians by helping them to RECORD, TELL and OWN their story of COURAGE through beads."
